Bike rental in Calpe starts at Service Course!

We established Baguet Bicycle Center in 2009 in Mojacar; one year later we started offering cycling holidays also for Calpe.  As per 5 October 2019 as Baguet Bicycle Center we co-founded and inaugurated Service Course in Calpe.

From that moment onwards Service Course Calpe also offers bike rental services next to other cyclist related services. At Service Course we also repair bikes, sell accessories and spare parts, as well as cycling gear.

We offer high quality road race bikes and speed pedelecs. With our various brands/models we pay attention to all types of cyclists, being it pro-cyclists, gran-fondo riders or cyclo-tourists. The rental bikes we offer are especially suited for the hilly sections in the area of Calpe.

The RIDLEY FENIX SLiC rental bike (integrated cockpit) is a performance-oriented, comfortable endurance bike, with responsive handling that responds instantly to tempo changes. Equipped with Shimano Di2 12-speed Ultegra Disc.

The SCOTT ADDICT 20 rental bike is an endurance road bike perfect for longer distances. This bike, like the Ridley Fenix, has a very comfortable geometry that allows you to spend hours in the saddle. Equipped with Shimano Di2 105 12-speed Disc.

The KLEVER X-SPEED rental bike is the stylish speed pedelec of great quality. With its 600W quiet motor it will not only take you to a speed of 45 km/h with ease on the plains but also on the climbs you will enjoy this powerhouse.

The BH Core 1.5 is so light that you would never think it is an e-bike. The frame is made of carbon and the 540Wh battery has an unseen range. The Gen 2 motor optimizes pedal assistance and significantly improves the user experience.

Warranty

Unless you subscribe an insurance, you’ll be asked to pay a warranty of 250€ is due at pick-up of the rental bike in our shop in Calpe. At the end of the rental period, our mechanic will inspect the bike. In case the bike is free of damage we will return your warranty. In case of damage to the bike, our mechanic will determine the total cost to be paid (potentially on top of the warranty).

Insurance

In case of damage the client bears the costs for the different components as outlined  in the rental contract and/or as estimated by the mechanic. However, at pick-up of the rental bike in Calpe, the client can subscribe an insurance at the price of 5€ per rental day. With this insurance, you are exempt from compensation for damages due to accidents and/or break-downs with a maximum amount of 1.000€. As a result of this you will only need to pay, in case of damage, the excess amount above 1.000€. On the other hand, in case the total cost of damage is below 1.000€ you will not pay any damage. The rental bike is and cannot be insured against theft.
